Customs and traditions
Gualococti is a place rich in customs and traditions as well as many interesting cultural aspects regarding with clothing, religion, and family.
Clothing
The typical women's clothing was a manta (draw cotton fabric) combination, colorful dresses, no shoes, and the men's clothing was manta pants, manta briefs, caites, accessories such as palm hat, a glittered colin (a kind of machete), and a lamp
Dancing and music
In dances, the music known as "La chanchona" was played with the dance steps of "El Sobaquiado".
- In the funerals the spectators played cards, told jokes and ate magaya (chew tobacco) and smoked cigar.
- They sometimes attended the parrandas (colloquial form to name a spree or a Fun or lively, bustling party and in which sometimes excesses are committed.).
Family
To form the family, the boyfriend followed established steps in the society (bring firewood to the family and if they burned it was accepted)
Religious aspects
